Glossary
If you want to import a tree from a Kith and Kin Pro database, use the appropriate import command and then enter the name in the "Database name" box or select the database from the list.
Normally, the default database is the one last used by either Kith and Kin Pro or TreeDraw.
The OK button will only be enabled if the database name is valid.
If you want to import a GEDCOM file instead, click on the GEDCOM button to select a GEDCOM file.
The "Database root folder" shows where the database is stored. Kith and Kin Pro databases are made up of several files, the files for each database being stored in separate folders. The root folder contains the folders for each database. You should not normally have to change the root folder, but if you do, enter a full path name or click on the Browse button to choose a new folder to store the database folder in.
The names used for Kith and Kin Pro databases are the actual folder names stored in the database root folder.
